The space was originally a movie theater called Lakehills 4 Cinema, which Strait Music Company took over in 2001. In early 2025, demolition work began on the former Strait Music Company location to make way for a new multifamily project. Spearheaded by CSW Development, the five-story, 3.8-acre development will feature high-end amenities such as a resort-style pool, coffee bar, co-working spaces, a clubroom, and a fully equipped fitness room. This project is part of CSW Development's growing presence in Austin, with previous developments including the Eclectic at Fifth, Far West, and the Crossing at Bear Creek mixed-use property.
