Meet the Owners
The store is owned by Emily and Rachel Baker, a dynamic duo who have managed to balance their personal relationship with their business partnership. Emily, 25, originally moved to Bluffton for a job at Book Warehouse in the Tanger Outlets, while Rachel, 45, was drawn to the Lowcountry as a place she envisioned retiring. Despite their different life stages, the two share a deep bond that has only strengthened through their shared passion for books.
Their business partnership is built on mutual respect and trust. While they may occasionally disagree, they know they can always rely on each other. Emily expressed how special it is to run a business with her mother, highlighting their long-standing friendship and shared love for literature.
