Franconia Lights Display – Alexandria, VA

Located at 6004 St John Dr, the Franconia Lights display is a must-see for anyone looking for a magical experience. This display features over 20,000 holiday lights that are synchronized to favorite holiday songs. A 12-foot Christmas tree stands tall, and visitors can control the music through the display’s website. When the weather allows, there will be snow and hot chocolate available for guests. To enjoy the show, simply scan the QR code upon arrival and listen to the music in your car or on your phone. The display also supports the Blood Cancer Society, making it a meaningful visit.

Brais-wald Light Display – Ashburn, VA

The Brais-wald light display, hosted by Scott & Molly Brais in the Brambleton community, is another highlight of the season. On weekends, music is added to the display, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the display every night until New Year's Eve.

Johnston Christmas Wonderland – Culpeper, VA

The Johnston Christmas Wonderland began as a display in Dale City and has continued to grow since the family moved to Culpeper. Each year, the display becomes more elaborate, featuring twinkling lights and other festive decorations. The display runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. Magical Kingdom – Fredericksburg, VA

At 7 Cavern Ct, the Magical Kingdom display features twinkling synchronized lights with music and unique decorations. The lights are on nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering a delightful experience for visitors.

Hilliard Home – Fredericksburg, VA

The Hilliard home’s yard is filled with holiday goods, including twinkling lights, snowflakes, and greenery. This display is a charming addition to the holiday season.

Sawbridge Way – Reston, VA

At 1304 Sawbridge Way, the display features a variety of festive elements. Visitors can enjoy the lights and decorations throughout the evening.

Blue Herron Circle – Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA

At 11121 Blue Herron Circle, the Patrick family has created a stunning display featuring 147,000 LED lights, 11 firefly laser light systems, and a new projection show with festive graphics, music, and holiday movie clips. Visitors can listen to FM radio station 87.9 to follow the show. The display includes a 9.7-foot-tall Bumble and his movie costars, an 8-foot-tall Santa, a 9-foot-tall reindeer, a large pond with a giant iceberg, a 140-foot trickling stream, a sparkling frosted field with a 40-foot-tall candy cane tree, and a multicolored tree with 5,000 lights up to 60 feet up the trunk. A new feature is a Santa’s village. The display runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting.

Hillington Court – Vienna, VA

Hillington Court continues the tradition of multiple homes decorated with Christmas displays. This year, three displays are up, adding to the festive spirit of the neighborhood.

Oak Valley Drive – Vienna, VA

At 2540 Oak Valley Drive, the display showcases festive elements like a Charlie Brown Christmas tableau and a “You are in Bedford falls” sign from "It's a Wonderful Life." The display is on until 11 p.m. nightly and will be on 24 hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Oakton Park Court – Vienna, VA

At 2731-2743 Oakton Park Court, the cul-de-sac of homes goes all out for holiday decorating. The Oakton Park Lights raise funds for One Neighborhood Foundation and Rustic Love Vienna. Neighbors greet visitors and hand out candy canes on most weekend evenings. QR codes on site allow donations to the featured nonprofits.
