Disneyland Unveils Paint the Night and More for Anniversary Celebration

Disneyland has officially unveiled its full 2026 calendar of events, offering guests a detailed look at the upcoming year of celebrations and new attractions. This includes the continuation of the Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration, which began in May 2025 and will run through early August 2026. While some of the 70th anniversary events have been temporarily paused to make room for seasonal entertainment, the park has announced when these will return.

70th Anniversary Offerings Set to Return

Currently, some of the 70th anniversary entertainment is on hold during the holiday season. However, several events continue, such as "World of Color Happiness!" and "Tapestry of Happiness." Additionally, "Celebrate Happy: A Little Bit of Magic Every Night" remains available.

Disneyland has confirmed that the "Wondrous Journeys" nighttime spectacular and Mickey and friends in their 70th anniversary outfits will return on January 8, right after the Christmas celebrations end. On January 9, the "Celebrate Happy Cavalcade" will also return, and the iconic "Paint the Night" parade will make its comeback on January 30.

However, one event, "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" in Disney California Adventure, will not be part of the 2026 lineup. The parade concluded its run in early August and will not return for the remainder of the 70th anniversary celebration.

New Dining Packages and Ticket Sales

Starting today, December 4, guests can book special dining packages for the "Paint the Night" parade at Plaza Inn. These packages include a meal and access to a reserved viewing area for the parade, with availability beginning on January 30, 2026. More details about these packages are available online.

The Disneyland California-wide residents ticket offer for 2026 travel is now on sale. Guests can take advantage of this exclusive deal to plan their visits.

Additionally, new 70th anniversary merchandise will be available at Disneyland and on DisneyStore.com. These items will complement the existing offerings from the Celebration Collection. Later this month, the Vault Collection will expand with new apparel. In January, a new chapter of the Vault Collection will arrive, featuring the Tinker Bell Chapter, which includes items like the Women's Tee and Trinket Tray. See the tee below!

New Products and Collectibles

New products inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle will join the Castle Collection. These include a Spirit Jersey and Pin Set, offering fans a chance to own unique collectibles.

End of the 70th Anniversary Celebration

The Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration will conclude on August 9, 2026, giving guests several more months to enjoy the special offerings. This includes the return of beloved events and the availability of new merchandise and experiences.
