Cinderella’s Royal Table: An Overview

Cinderella’s Royal Table is located inside of Magic Kingdom, specifically within the iconic Cinderella Castle. This dining experience transports guests to a storybook setting complete with medieval flags, stained glass windows, and archways. Young guests are encouraged to dress in their best royal attire when they visit, as they have the opportunity to meet their favorite Disney princesses. The princesses roam the restaurant, taking photos and signing autographs in this magical setting.

Whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll still get to experience the royal fun. All meals at Cinderella’s Royal Table are part of a prix-fixe menu, offering starters, entrees, and desserts. As of 2025, the pricing is $74 per adult and $45 per child for breakfast, while lunch and dinner cost $88 per adult and $52 per child.

It’s Seriously Expensive

Disney World is inherently expensive, to a degree, so meals can also be quite expensive regardless of where you’re dining in the theme parks or resorts. But at Cinderella’s Royal Table, the pricing is even more outrageous than you might expect, especially given the amount of food you receive.

Yes, it’s a prix-fixe meal, but the portions are relatively small for what you are paying. At $88 per adult and $52 for kids, you’d expect a meal that’s satisfying, and Cinderella’s Royal Table doesn’t always deliver. Oh, and if you’re using the Disney Dining Plan? It’ll cost you two table-service meal credits per person (kids included!) to dine here.

Given this restaurant is more of a kids-focused meal with characters, the price you’ll pay for a kids meal is astronomical for what you are getting. You can easily pay less at a character buffet experience elsewhere.

The Food Quality Is Lacking

When you’re paying a premium price for food, obviously you’ll want to get your money’s worth. And unfortunately, another criticism for Cinderella’s Royal Table is food quality.

While this table-service dining establishment does offer items like filet mignon and lamb chops, guests often don’t find the food to be anything spectacular. If you’re hoping to dine here simply because you think it’s popular for its stellar food, we suggest looking elsewhere.

There Are Other, Better Character Dining Options Available

While Cinderella’s Royal Table is a one-of-a-kind character dining experience inside of Cinderella’s Castle where you’re able to meet the Disney Princesses, this isn’t the only place you can dine and enjoy one-on-one character interactions.

If character dining is what you are after, 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian is a great option that’s cheaper in price and offers the chance to meet Cinderella and Tiana. Another option we love is Akershus in EPCOT. This restaurant is home to characters like Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora and Ariel. This meal, too, is less than Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Where You Should Dine Instead of Cinderella’s Royal Table

While Cinderella’s Royal Table certainly offers an iconic experience, they are definitely not the only show in town. Here are some options we suggest for a similar experience.

1900 Park Fare

If it’s the characters that matter most to you, consider a visit to 1900 Park Fare. Just a monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, 1900 Park Fare is a buffet that allows guests to celebrate the magic of a wish with their favorite characters, including Cinderella, Mirabel, Princess Tiana and Aladdin.

While this doesn’t offer the same amount of princesses as Cinderella’s Royal Table, you are still getting a chance to meet Cinderella, enjoy an interactive experience, and eat a delicious and bountiful buffet. And if you’re looking for a less expensive, less chaotic, and even more delicious character meal, this is the spot to visit instead.

Skipper Canteen and Princess Fairytale Hall

If you don’t mind skipping a traditional character dining restaurant in favor of meeting princesses in a new way, consider a visit to a sit-down restaurant and then head to Princess Fairytale Hall.

Skipper Canteen is a sit-down restaurant inside of Magic Kingdom with some Jungle Cruise flare. While it doesn’t evoke the princess spirit, it’s a great way to enjoy a delicious meal and save some money. Then you can head to Princess Fairytale Hall and meet Cinderella, Tiana, and two visiting princesses. While it’s not a dining experience, it does offer a chance to meet the princesses at a much lower cost.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

If character dining inside a theme park is what you’re after, consider a visit to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. This character dining experience most commonly has Ariel, Bella, Aurora, Snow White, and sometimes Cinderella or Tiana.

Since it’s located inside EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion, it does give all of those classic castle vibes with high archways and cathedral ceilings, all for a lower cost than Cinderella’s Royal Table. This restaurant is also sometimes a little easier to get reservations at than Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Our Final Recommendation

If you’ve never been to Cinderella’s Royal Table, you might want to try it at least one time. But frankly, we think there are so many good options across Disney World that it’s definitely a skip in our book!
