Top 10 Iconic Christmas Hotels in America

The Ultimate Guide to the Best Christmas Hotels in the USA

If you're anything like me, your holiday involves two things—hot chocolate and watching Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Every time I see Kevin check into that giant hotel room, I want to book a trip ourselves! And let's be honest, no Christmas movie is quite like this one, though Elf may be able to compete! Comment your thoughts!

Here's the breakdown of the best Christmas hotels in the USA, starting with the one we all know and love!

The Star of the Show: The Plaza, NYC (#1)

It's no surprise that The Plaza snagged the #1 spot. This is the place where Kevin McCallister ordered the giant ice cream sundae! The Plaza is a New York City legend, and it absolutely earns its title as the ultimate Christmas hotel. They really lean into the fancy holiday vibe, offering amazing rooms and special experiences like their famous Holiday Afternoon Tea. The whole exterior is covered in elegant lights, and if you book a special package, you can even get a giant, decorated Christmas tree set up right in your suite. It's the perfect spot to feel like the star of your own holiday movie.
